The Club
The Whistler Racquet Club is just north of Whistler's Marketplace off Highway 99 at Village Gate Blvd then left on Northlands Blvd. The Whistler Racquet Club is Whistler's finest tennis facility, a leading resort publication ranks the resort and tennis camps among the world's best. The club welcomes visitors offering a number of tennis/accommodation packages. There are also a variety of membership options available. The club currently has over 180 memberships with 300 plus regular players. |

Facility
The Whistler Racquet Club has three year round indoor hard courts with viewing lounge and eight outdoor hard courts (including one centre court). There is also a heated outdoor swimming pool and hot tub; a clubhouse with exercise room, change rooms with showers, pro shop providing racquet rentals and stringing service and a range of tennis gear, dining lounge with outdoor patio, food and beverage service provided by the new Wildwood Pacific Bistro. The club is ideal for business or special event functions providing full catering service and the staff will organize a tennis tournament or round robin for your group. |

Programs
The Whistler Racquet Club offers a comprehensive tennis instructional program which is run by Director of Tennis, Marjorie Blackwood and her husband and Director of Tennis/Events, Peter Schelling. Adult programs include women's only tennis camps, extreme tennis camps, the "art of doubles" camps, drills/skills/play camps and drop-in drill sessions. Junior programs include kids weeklong summer recreational tennis camps, tiny tots tennis, bronze lesson program, silver lesson program, gold lesson program, competitive lesson program and mini-tennis/pizza party and full court/pizza party tournaments once a month. The bronze, silver, gold lesson programs use the "Play Tennis Kids Awards", once a certificate is completed it is time to move to the next level. Private, semi-private, small group lessons and a ball machine are also available. There are on-going social events, leagues and partner matching. The Whistler Racquets Club plays host to the HSBC Whistler Masters Doubles Round Robin tournament and the Connell/Wilson Rookie Junior tournament. |
